I have always been fascinated by the infinite patterns and colours of trees.

As an artist I like abstracting contemporary images from the trunk and bark of trees.

There is a Chinese saying:

A tree has a face,

A tree has a soul,

A tree has its beauty,

A tree has its age,

Embrace the young and old,

Feel the wind and the sun,

Feel the earth, air and light

and delight in their presence.
